Yuan Long has been actively participating in many sports and outdoor adventure programme, and was even selected and placed in several key leadership positions through his life.
During his secondary school days he was appointed Assistant Head of Training in National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC). With the passion of training new leaders in his Unit, he continued to serve as a Cadet Inspector after graduation. He was subsequently appointed to lead his team of Inspectors for a term of 3 years. Yuan Long had been given many awards during for his outstanding performance in NPCC; of which included the Best Unit Cadet in his unit. His contribution was also recognized by his school and was also given the CCA colours award in 2004. He was subsequently awarded the SPF Award which honored the top 2% of graduating cadets in 2004.
Yuan Long was subsequently posted to Singapore Police Force (SPF) for his National Service as a patrol crew. His outstanding performance was recognized not long after, and he was given the Commander’s Commendation Award.
Yuan Long’s passion for outdoor adventure training and experiential learning had led him to continue on as an Outdoor Facilitator in the industry. He has conducted programmes for several schools as well as high profile corporate groups.
Currently, Yuan Long is leading the project to set up a new Experiential Learning and Adventure Centre in China, Shandong.
